New From WA State

Postby Dennis » Wed Jul 09, 2014 2:45 pm

Hi all, joined this site hoping to tap into all of your knowledge with the smaller calibers. have been shooting a couple of 17's for a while now and added a .19 Calhoon and a .20 Vartarg to the mix recently. I first started with a .17 Ackley Hornet barrel from Fred at Bullberry on a contender action that has been fantastic in the gopher fields. I finally saved up and splurged on a Cooper in .17 MK4 that has been just as much fun on the gophers. I am at this time trying to get a .17 Super Jet to shoot, so any help and or info you all can share on this little gun will be greatly appreciated.

Hey Dennis, welcome aboard.

Just purchased a CZ 527 .22 Hornet myself and was looking to convert it into a .17AH. Seems like a great little round to me.

Anyone, make yourself comfortable and enjoy these great group of people.

Dennis, I am from Wenatchee, also new here. I have a 22 superjet on a small martini action that I might re-barrel to 20 or 17 cal. Would like to get your thoughts. Dick Parr
