Reading the post I'd have to agree with ae35gunner, I purchased 5 barrels on the last group buy. I've only been able to chamber and install two of them. Schools still out on the second as I've only shot a very few rounds but the first was outstanding. I had a couple issues and both we're very quickly and professionally responded to. One the outcome wasn't what I'd hoped for but was no big deal, they did in fact respond. I believe from my experience they are very customer service minded. If another group buy comes along I'm sure I'll participate just a little to soon for me at this time. For what it's worth, I spoke with a smith that feels X Caliber barrels are as fine as he's seen, he thinks they will become one of the premier barrel companies in the future. Rick

I must add too this thread re. Xcaliber barrels MFG. I have obtained three barrels from them over the last few months. Each has been exactly what and how I wanted them and each have been breaking in very easy, and shooting just great. :D . I have dealt with both Dustin and Hunter, via email and phone calls and they have been very helpful, with answers to questions and information. So in my humble opinion, they are doing a great job, giving us a fine product and at reasonable prices. Anyone wanting a quality barrel and great customer service, will not go wrong by dealing with them. Bill K :)

PDwreckers new 20 Nitro was shooting great during our first test outing on Sunday. His was built on an X-Caliber 3 groove 11 twist barrel with one of their muzzle brake's installed. Right out of the gate he had 3 touching once we got the scope dialed in. I have personally tested or been involved in the testing of 6 of their barrels this year and all of them have performed very well. Good enough for me so i decided to get another 3 groove 11 twist barrel ordered for testing of my next new 20 caliber cartridge release. :D

I did the bedding of the action on Saturday, then on Sunday Brad came over to the shop and we did a load work up. He brought his neat Magnetospeed chrony . We were loading a 40grain SMK and we were both really impressed...right at 4000fps, without any pressure signs!!!
I just completed the clearcoat application on the stock Monday evening prior to closing the shop. I'll get the rifle reassembled and post a couple photos of the completed project. These barrels are as nice as any I have worked with or shot. Very little copper in the first cleaning (after10 rds).

Dave. Brad (CRT) should chime in here, but last time the group buy did allow (or at least X caliber) AR 15 barrels. Bill K :)
