I wasn't necessarily attempting to lap the barrel. I just wanted to clean out some stubborn fouling that accumulated during break in. I used 3 patches with Jb's on them to run back and fourth thru the barrel. It took a total of 20 minutes tops and the barrel doesn't foul much at all now. Amazing how such a little thing makes such a big difference.
