DIY case annealing machine

After reading about the "Skip design" home made annealing machine on various sites I decided to have a go at building one. And then another for a shooting buddy. All together I've got around $150 in the pair. Anyone looking to improve their annealing consistency I strongly recommend putting one together.

Very nicely done there, Duker! I have been collecting parts to build one myself. I have also been shamelessly stealing ideas from various home-built units for the last year or so. Any chance of a picture of the backside of these two units? I want to use one motor and speed controller to turn both, the feeder drum and pan. I have some very small (1/4" pitch) roller chain to connect the two. Again, thanks for sharing and, great job!!!

I doubt there are two Skip design machines exactly alike but with that said, here's a link to a lengthy thread with plans and some worth while discussion.

Here is the back side of the two roller machine. I gave the single roller unit to a buddy prior to taking a back side picture of it.

Perfect! The two motor unit is the one I most wanted to see. I really need to get going on the project. I have done a couple thousand cases this Winter using a torch/cordless drill/deep socket. Works just fine but, has no entertainment value whatsoever!!!
