Ian, Great review on the 455. I own a half a dozen of the old 452s/453s and they are finely finished pieces of equipment. Sad to hear of your tribulations with the bolt but glad to see that issue is not insurmountable with a little handiwork. I guess after the first excursion on the rabbits, the word has been spread. The little HMR did the business again last night taking some more rabbits, the temp had dropped to -1 celcious and there were a lot of fireworks because of impending Guy Fawkes night, so the rabbits were a little skittish.
Most ran as soon as the red beam of the lamp illuminated them but 8 stood long enough for the HMR to give them a 17 calibre headache :) .
