Henry 22 Maggie

Postby Virginian » Sun Feb 15, 2015 10:57 am

Well i just won on gunbroker a NIB Henry 22WMR H001M. I'll post some thoughts on it when I get it shipped and sell a slightly used liver to buy some ammo for it.

Due to snow storms I've been held up on picking my rifle up at the FFL. I finally got down there today and picked her up. I always worry a little that the gun on gunbroker might not be as described. Fortunately this one is perfect and I'm very proud to own it. We'll see how she shoots here in the near future.

There's just something very cool about a nice rimfire lever action rifle, especially if it's a .22WMR. And who ever said a lever action rifle is not a varmint rifle?

Skippy being a varmint, thought he was safe from my Winchester 9422 Mag 'cause "it's not a varmint rifle"........ Well, he's going to have to re-think that one.

Virginian: Nice Henry you've got there, bud. It should serve you well for many years to come. I've got the twin to my 9422 Mag in .22LR, but for walkabouts, I find myself grabbing the .22 Magnum most of the time. They're just neat little rifles. :D
